In case you’re roleplaying more of a thief than a ranger. Hidden Hidehouts of Skyrim - City Edition - Same as above, but within Skyrim’s five major cities. If you need a covered place to crash at night, or you’re like me and your Dovahkiin wants to live in a hermit cave, get this.

Choose if you want map markers or not if not, you have to steal a guidebook from the Riverwood Trader and puzzle out their locations yourself. Hidden Hideouts of Skyrim - Adds up to 15 (you can pick and choose) tinybolt-hole ‘homes’ (re: caves with bedrolls and not much else) scattered across the uncivilized landscape. Chose the decorating style, Imperial or Stormcloak banners, Daedric or Divine shrines, creature lairs, extensions… This mod, singlehandedly, is the reason I don’t give a single shit about Hearthfire and ONLY use Hearthfire for mod compatibility. Not that it matters - it’s not like any these are incompatible.īuild Your Own Home - Adds a fully-customizeable home by a waterfall between Whiterun and Windhelm. Note that - in the interest of not cluttering up my game with suspiciously well-appointed empty houses - while Etain 2.0 lived in the Build Your Own Home, and 3.5 in the Hunter’s Treehouse, her current incarnation doesn’t have either of those running. I favor homes that are small and immersive, so no giant manor houses with every crafting luxury and a room full of fifteen display cases here.
